Miami ‘Cannibal’ Victim Speaks (Ronald Poppo) – Miami Video

“For the first time, Ronald Poppo can be heard describing the day a naked North Miami man attacked him and chewed off most of his face — and then thanking police for saving his life. “He just ripped me to ribbons,” the 65-year-old calmly told police on interview recordings obtained by CBS Miami. “He chewed up my face. He plucked out my eyes… And basically that’s all there is to say about it.” The horrific Memorial Day weekend mauling made international headlines and left Poppo blind, missing his nose, and covered in a patchwork of mangled flesh…”.* Ana Kasparian and Cenk Uygur discuss on The Young Turks. *Read more here from The Huffington Post: Video courtesy of CBS Miami: Support The Young Turks by Subscribing Like Us on Facebook: Follow Us on Twitter: Buy TYT Merch: Find out how to watch The Young Turks on Current by clicking here:

    Seth Rogan

  2. Alzdr says:

I feel really sorry for Ronald Poppo having this happen to him. However, the reason he does not seem so bothered about it is because it gives him a legitimate reason to do nothing!

  3. b13nrg says:

They should take the nose and eyes and the flesh of the guy that ate him and give them to ronald

  4. MidnightDesperado says:

They’re not blaming religion, they’re just telling the truth. There were pages of the Bible there, and none of the news ever said anything about it. They even said the words “we’re not blaming the Bible.” Sheesh x____x

I can’t think of a good reason why I should concede to your minority perception of social conformities(I.E, 84 percent of the world is religious and believes in a divine power while only 16 percent is atheist/agnostic.) Compared to the overwhelming atheist viewer base on TYT videos.

I’m not even a Christian, I’m a Catholic, and both of my parents are agnostic. This is your level of intelligence and tunnel vision, to assume the above

  6. BotActionAndy says:

Really you can’t think of any reason for me saying that? In short you agree too much with social conformities (you believe what your parents told you to believe.)

  7. metalheadk93 says:

The irony of your statement is that it is the “closed-mindedness” that you perceive in me for no good reason.

  8. BotActionAndy says:

A Christian calling someone ‘close-minded’ so much irony in that statement.

  9. Dreldams says:

I’ve been stuck in my moms house with extreme social anxiety for 13 years, at 29 years of age I have no family support, no friends, no job because of PTSD and anxiety of having a physically and emotionally abusive father, and being bullied in school. Is this really what needs to happen before anyone will ever help me? Do I need to go out and have my face eaten by a psychopath before anyone has any compassion or will to support me and help me become a normal functional human?

  13. seattle8686 says:

seems like you are fantasizing while you type…go change your underwear kid.

  14. NOMCCBAMA says:

OH Please this dick was creaming his jeans over the prospect of blaming this on the BIBLE

  15. toolegit2quittttt says:

he said you can’t blame the bible.. it’s just curious how the media will speculate about everything except that because it’s sacred. also, you’re a fucking idiot.

  16. metalheadk93 says:

Yeah, is this what you say to all Christians, Catholics, Muslims, Jews, Buddhist, and religious people in general? I’d hate to break it to you but you’re incredibly intolerant and ignorant.

  17. MultiTrollHunter says:

You still believe in God and jesus? Wow hahaha hate to be the one to break it to you but they do not exist.

  18. blistified says:

You dislike guns because you feel tiny and are scared. Dont spell things out for you? Like you did for the other person. The hypocrisy flows deep within you.

  19. ZeDtEk25 says:

    or else. lol

  20. fingrid says:

I’m honest and I don’t need things to be spelled out for me. 🙂

  21. fingrid says:

“Perhaps stories like should justify some thought into the idea of self defense with a gun, or even defending someone else with a gun.”
You were asking someone else to change himself to agree with you. Wow, what a glorious gesture. While you are asking for ones man cards, balls and support, why don’t you finish the job and self-defend yourself with a gun against that guy?
    “”get real and grow up””
“This story is real. The victim is real.”
I know why you ignored the “grow up” part; you can’t.

  22. Tigranis says:

His attacker is dead, he’s getting some help, and anger really goes nowhere. Given the situation, it’s on par with getting hit in the face by lightning or mangled between two cars and surviving. It’s probably healthiest for a person to treat it like a freak and terrible accident and try to move on. It does take a rare person to do that and not destroy themselves with rage that can’t be directed at anyone living.
